FAQ

Wedding Flowers Frequently Asked Questions

In this section we have tried to answer any questions you may have.  If you have a questions that we have not covered, please do not hesitate to contact us by phone or email.

If I want to see you discuss my wedding flowers in more detail what do I do?

We recommend that you make an appointment, that way we can make that we have the time to discuss your wedding flowers in detail and give this important part of your day the attention it deserves. This in no-obligation, after the appointment you will be emailed a quote and then it is up to you to decide if you want us to do your wedding flowers.

When do I need to book my wedding florist?

As soon as possible, once you have made your decision book your date, as like all good wedding related services popular dates soon get fully booked sometimes a year or two in advance.

Do I need to choose exactly what I want so early?

No all you need to do, as soon as you have decided which florist you want to do your work, is secure your wedding date. To do this you would pay a £50 booking fee this secures your date and is non-refundabe however it does come off your final bill. If no contact in between your florist would then usually see you again about 8 weeks before your date to finalise what you want.

What Should I bring to the meeting?

As much information as possible. Style of your gown and bridesmaid dressses. Samples of colour. Any photographs of flowers that you love. But don't worry if you don't have any firm idea of what you want, in the meeting you can see the flowers and the styles of work that we do and we can guide you through what sort of flowers would suit your size, shape, personality and style of your wedding.

What time will my flowers get delivered?

We normally deliver the flowers approximately 2 hours before the ceremony, but if you wish them to be delivered earlier we can discuss that with you at the meeting.

What sort of flowers should I present to the mothers?

We usually recommend a hand-tied bouquet as this has a water bubble at the bottom so the flowers are still drinking and it comes in a carry bag making it easy for your mum and mother-in-law to deal with until they get home. We would usually suggest these be the wedding colours, or something suited to the personal taste of the mums.

I am from out of the area but am getting married in Liverpool, are you able to liase with us by email?

That would be no problem and we have done this in the past. We would consult with you be sending jpeg pictures back and forth until we were happy we know exactly what you want.

I am having my wedding on a Sunday do you deliver on Sundays or do I have to have them on Saturday?

What ever day you are getting married we will have your flowers delivered to you fresh that day.

I am having my ceremony between Christmas and New Year is that a problem?

Not per se, however there are some flowers which are not available at that time of year. Also the flower auctions close over auction so we may need to get your flowers in earlier than we normally we would so would need to be mindful of this in flower choice. We would be able to advise you about this in your meeting.
